Daija's Ability

What Is In The Scope Of Practice of a county commissioner?

Let's Clarify

I SERVE GOD. You can find me with my husband leading Kingdom Classes about the specific principles Jesus taught in the Bible.
Send me a contact form and happy to invite you.

Personal beliefs do influence my position on specific decisions for Collier County.

I UPHOLD THE BILL OF RIGHTS.
I was the first and only person running in District 4 to publicly stand for the Bill of Rights Ordinance in Collier County. Anthony Sabatini, our FL House of Representative, endorsed me for my actions.

I AM A PRINCIPLED BASED PERSON.
What does this mean? I stand in integrity (zero empty lip service or showboating here).
Respect. Honesty. Fairness. Drive. Inclusivity. Acceptance. Ethics. I am not a traditional swamp establishment politician. Zero special interests get my time or attention. I am a leader. Leadership focuses upon principles and inspires others to utilize their strengths to achieve our visions via workable, incremental and measurable steps.

OUTSIDE THE PURVIEW OF COMMISSIONER

FOR/AGAINST, MOOT POINT.
There is a special interest organization in town that seems to misunderstand what a County Commissioner is capable of doing. Clubs and other prominent individuals who approach candidates as puppets and psyops have this same confusion too.

If I do or do not support something is irrelevant if it's out of my scope of action, WHAT I CAN DO is influence, as well as assist you to lead upward yourself to gain community support to reach the elected officials who can effect the change you are seeking to accomplish.

SOME EXAMPLES OF THINGS OUTSIDE OF THE PURVIEW OF A COMMISSIONER:

The State of Florida ratifying a National, balanced budget with exception only for periods declared by war or National emergency. (NATIONAL = FEDERAL)

5 Year transition to privatize all public education in Florida tied to an Education Savings Account (ESA) where the money follows the student. (FLORIDA = STATE)

Support the elected county Sheriff's authority under the constitution to protect the citizens of our county against unconstitutional Federal and State overreach of individual's rights. (See my public record statements)

Florida Legislation passing the heartbeat bill to protect the unborn. (FLORIDA = STATE)

Will you as a Collier County Commissioner keep our roads safe? (ROADS = SHERIFF/POLICE)

Will you as a Collier County Commissioner arrest our school board? (ARREST = SHERIFF)

Will you as a Collier County Commissioner allow xyz in Naples City Parks?
(CITY PARKS = CITY COUNCIL)

BELIEVE IN THE SECOND AMENDMENT.
Any laws sought to impede law abiding citizens Constitutional Right in Collier County will be stood against by myself.

BELIEVE IN LIMITED GOVERNMENT.
Believe in paying a livable wage than dictating housing to employees of the county/city/school board (and that is under my decision making capacity as your prospective Commissioner).

OPPOSED MASK MANDATES.
If you have been following along... I lead the initiative for businesses, School Board, and residents to sign 1000s of petitions to end the mask mandates. I was incredibly vocal with our County Board of Commissioners. Mask mandates violated our inalienable rights.
